Christmas Concerts

The  Christmas  concert  was  received  with  great  applause  and  appreciation.   Of  course  the  soloists  were  magnificent  as  usual.   However,  it  could  have  been  a  disaster  as  the alto  soloist  succumbed  to  the  dreaded  lurgy  two  days  before  the  concert  and  after  loads  of  phone-calls  to  try  and  replace  her,  Helen  (conductor)  came  valiantly to…

Our 2016 Christmas concert was held on Saturday 10th December when we sang ‘A Christmas Mass’ by Ronald Corp as well as other Christmas music.   We were fortunate to be joined by our 2013 Young Musician Competition winner,   Florence Cain,  who recently won BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister 2016.
